About Pickleball Zone Bend

Our 8 dedicated indoor courts are of course the master piece of Pickleball Zone. Made with a state-of-the-art cushion court layer to be more forgiving on players’ bodies. Each court is separated by curtains. 72 eight foot LED lights provide enough light for HDTV.

A reception area with lockers, changing rooms with showers, Spin Bike, and TV monitors to let you know what’s happening now and in the future. The Engage Players Lounge, with its incredible view over 11 Mountain Peaks, are all part of rounding out the unparalleled experience awaiting both players and spectators alike.

A Pickleball Pro Shop, featuring products from top companies like Engage, Gearbox, Pickleball Central and Babolat. From paddles, tour bags, and shoes, to Pickleball Zone embossed apparel, our Pro Shop has something for everyone.

Programmed Events where players enjoy a wealth of programs and events such as Round Robins, Challenge Play, Tournaments, Mixers and more. Our Oregon Pickleball Academy (or OPA as it come to be known) offers a year-round full-time schedule of lessons, clinics, camps, IPTPA prep and rating session, video analysis and even “play with the pro” sessions.

Court Rental

Court fee is $30 per hour, per court.

Our Story

For the last several years, the 16 world-class outdoor courts at Pine Nursery have been the ideal fit for the Pickleball craze in Bend. Yet, the need for an indoor facility to use during the winter season needed to be addressed. Enter Werner Zehnder and Butch Roberts, co-owners of Pickleball Zone Bend (PZB). Thanks to these two men with a passion for the sport of Pickleball, every pickleballers’ dream for a state-of-the-art indoor facility and training academy came to fruition. After years of planning, Pickleball Zone Bend opened its doors on October 29th, 2018. This 55,000 square foot facility hosts Trampoline Zone & Adventure Park on the ground floor, and 8 dedicated pickleball courts on the 3rd floor. The Engage Players Lounge adds comfort and mountainous views from the 4th floor.

The business model for the Pickleball Zone is a balance of Memberships as well as individual court rental. In addition, lessons clinics and camps will be offered through our Oregon Pickleball Academy.
