About Estrella Negra:

Estrella Negra is an eclectic eatery that offers Mexican gourmet street food with an updated flair. Chef/Owner Otoniel takes a creative modern twist to traditional family recipes. Our walls and tables are decorated with beautiful artwork from local artist that feature a colorful Day of the Dead motif. We are located 2 blocks west of the Kennedy expressway on Fullerton Avenue in the Bucktown/ Logan Square border. Guests can munch on pomegranate guacamole before feasting on some of mommas homemade pozole soup, mango salsa goat cheese enchiladas and a chocolate chip tamale for dessert. With a variety of flavorful dishes, that include many vegetarian options, customers can delight on empanadas, tacos, tamales, enchiladas, burritos, etc…

We also serve brunch. A full service bar is available with an excellent selection of craft beers and cocktails. Reservations are encouraged. Delivery, catering and take-out services are also available.
