Located just 20 minutes from St. George, Snow Canyon State Park is a 7,400-acre scenic park cozily tucked amid lava flows and vast sandstone cliffs in a stunningly colorful and fragile desert habitat. The unique and beautiful colors emitting from all aspects of Snow Canyon’s terrain has evoked a strong sense of emotions in the park’s guests.
Located in the 62,000 acre Red Cliffs Desert Reserve, Snow Canyon was established in 1959 with intent to protect the federally listed desert tortoise and its habitat. The park offers activities for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. These activities include:
