Enter the Mercer Museum’s six-story, concrete castle for a trip back in time. The Museum was completed in 1916 to house Mercer’s vast collection of early American everyday objects. You will find more than 60 early American crafts and trades represented. One mile away, visit Fonthill Castle for a guided tour of Mercer’s dream home to see his colorful, handcrafted tiles embedded in the castle’s floors, walls, and ceilings, and to see his collection of prints and objects from around the world.
